Yeah!!!! I am finally done! This has not been a total labor of love. Some of the exercises were interesting and fun and I will share them with others. A lot of the steps were confusing and it was very frustrating when things would not post. Thank heavens for computer savvy co-workers (Joanna, Marian & Benola)!! Learning new words that I have never heard of before but that I hear all the time now like blog, flickr and rss feed was a "good thing" as Martha says. I also now don't feel so behind the times. Learning to use the online generators was fun and exploring new websites was very interesting. Most of these things I will never use again but at least I know there is more out there than I would have ever imagined. The best part of this was reading everyone else's blogs. It was very interesting to see what people put on their blogs and to see that we have some very talented and computer savvy people on our staff. Thanks for having this tutorial Louisa and for helping us experience all these "things'!

I registered for my Net Library account and will download something onto my MP3 player. I looked around the NetLibrary site. I know I personally would not want to read any book on a computer. Ouch my eyes! I know I would not want to listen to a non-fiction book either, unless it was a biography. I guess I am not an auditory learner. I was disappointed in the number of fiction titles on this site. I had hoped there would be more. Anyway, on to the next "thing" until I can try this out for real!

#21 podcasts

Okay, I am too frustrated. I listened to podcasts on podcast.net, yahoo's podcast, etc. I could not get anything to link. Maybe it's the computers at SO because I had help from someone who is already done and it wouldn't work for her either. Podcasts are good for getting info but I like the video feeds better.
